Automotive Technician – Family-Owned Shop (No Corporate BS)

Overview:

We’re a family-owned and independently operated auto repair shop looking to add a skilled and motivated Automotive Technician to our growing team.

You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality vehicle maintenance and repair services while working alongside a team that values craftsmanship, integrity, and continuous learning.

What You’ll Do:

Perform accurate diagnostics using scan tools, electrical systems, and schematics
Repair and maintain a wide range of vehicles including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and powertrain systems
Complete general service work such as oil changes, tire services, alignments, and suspension repairs
Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues efficiently and correctly the first time
Use hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment safely and effectively
Communicate clearly with service advisors and (when needed) customers about findings and recommendations
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment

What We’re Looking For:

Proven experience as an automotive technician (independent shop or dealership preferred)
Strong diagnostic ability and understanding of electrical systems and schematics
Experience with diesel is a plus (not required)
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Takes pride in quality work and attention to detail
Valid driver’s license (clean driving record preferred)
ASE certifications are a plus but not required
