Automotive Technician / Mechanic - Full Time - Busy Auto Repair Shop

Precision Diagnostics Inc. in Plainfield, IL is hiring an experienced Automotive Technician / Mechanic to join our growing team.

We are a busy, organized auto repair shop looking for a reliable technician who takes pride in quality work, diagnostics, inspections, and getting vehicles repaired correctly the first time.

Responsibilities include:

Perform maintenance and repairs on cars and light trucks

Diagnose drivability, electrical, suspension, brake, steering, cooling, and A/C concerns
Complete digital vehicle inspections
Communicate findings clearly with the service team
Maintain a clean and professional work area
Follow repair procedures and quality standards

Requirements:

Automotive repair experience required

Must have your own tools
Valid driver’s license required
Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
Ability to work well with a team
Diagnostic experience
ASE certifications are a plus, but not required
