We are a busy, professional facility in San Diego looking for a reliable B-Level Automotive Technician to join our crew. We take pride in running a clean, organized shop where the team works together to get the job done right.

The Role:

Mechanical & Systems Repair: Confidently handle brakes, suspension, hydraulics, and HVAC systems.

Diagnostic Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve complex electrical and computer system issues.

Shop Collaboration: Record detailed inspection findings for accurate estimating and assist other techs when a second set of eyes is needed.

Communication: Clearly explain technical findings to the service team to ensure our customers stay informed.

What You Bring to the Table:

Experience: 3+ years working as a professional technician in a shop environment.

Technical Skill: The ability to diagnose and repair mechanical problems with general supervision.

Credentials: A clean, valid California driver’s license. Vocational or technical school training is a definite plus.

Work Ethic: A team-player attitude, good judgment under pressure, and a commitment to keeping a professional atmosphere.

Specialization & Compensation:

We believe in paying for the expertise you bring to the bay. While our base rates are highly competitive, we offer increased compensation for technicians with documented proficiency in:

Advanced Diagnostics: Mastery of scan tools and complex drivability issues.

Electrical Systems: Expertise in wiring, sensors, and modern vehicle networks.

Transmission & Drivetrain: Strong knowledge of specialized components and unit swaps.

Import/Specialty Brands: Deep experience with specific manufacturer platforms.

Pay Range: $32.00 – $45.00/hr (starting rate depends on your specific skill set and certifications).
