Job description
Ideal candidates
We are Looking to build our team. We want to find you if you are interested in simple Hands-on work involved in fixing, cleaning, repairing, upgrading, Servicing of vehicles. Most of the work we are doing are small easy jobs that take 1 or 2 people between 1-8 hours to complete. Some vehicles we work with can be completed in 1-8 hours. By Building a team we want you to be reliable & trustworthy so that you can be trusted by other people to effectively clean and repair vehicles owned by dealerships, by Customers, and by Government agencies. Much of what we do you can be learned by watching a Youtube Videos or in shows like “Wheeler Dealer found on HBO Max”. You can also study books or take trade school classes such as UTI, Community College, or in our case learn by doing under the supervision of Certified Master Technician or seasoned pros. If you do this job, you will be expected to learn how to document your work in the form of “Complaint, Cause, Correction”. We want to keep a Professional workplace so no pranks, no drinking, no drugs affecting ability to work safely. Having your own tools is a plus but you can also use some shop tools and equipment.
Compensation
You will be paid by Flag-time method per hour. The Flag time method means that each job must be authorized for how many hours are to be billed before the job is started. If a Job is authorized for 8 hours and it takes you 7 hours to complete the work then you still get paid 8 hours. In cases where jobs may take longer, we must either call the customer to authorize more hours or eat the extra time as a freebee. As a trainee technician you can estimate enough time for the job. We are billing customers for the work and the billed hours equate to earned hours for the technician that completes the task. Payday is 26 times in each year as every 2 weeks so in 2 months each year you get an extra pay day. Each persons pay-per hour rate will depend on your knowledge & ability. If your are a green apprentice with no knowledge or experience you not earn as much as someone with 5+ years’ experience.

We have operated for 26 years as an auto & RV dealership. The Company founder has been an ASE Certified Master Technician since 1988 and Licensed Smog Tech since 1986. Working on cars since 1983. With 43 years’ experience at new-car stores and in government vehicle and equipment fleet operations. Today we want to build apprentice-up teams nationwide to efficiently provide a path from learner to skilled technician with specialties in certain scopes of work up to master technician and develop this as a nationwide network. We want our team to be worthy of the customers trust with their vehicles that we can correct issues quickly the first time at a reasonable competitive cost. We are accepting work from the public and government agencies to correct issued with vehicles or preform upgrades, detailing, or makeovers. a. Entry level-1 Trainee/Apprentice & Detailers for automotive (cars, Trucks, SUVs, Classics) and/or Recreational Vehicles (RVs).
Willingness to learn while doing. Ability to work safely with or at the direction of others without losing temper or motivation. Willing to do Vehicle cleaning, Waxing, Polishing. Learning of Mechanical tasks including electrical, Sealants, and all other light to medium automotive or RV related handyman work. Ability to safely work on ladders, Scissor Lifts or other platforms.
b. Journey level-2 Experienced Technician for Automotive or Recreational Vehicles.
Journey level Technician more experienced mechanics, technicians with solid knowledge of 12 volt electrical and vehicle OBD2 systems. We are seeking people that have specialty knowledge brands such as Ford, GM, Mercedes Benz, Cumins, Toyota, Tesla, and other brands, Knowledge and ability to read wire diagrams and to install or repair 12 volt automotive electrical circuits.
