## What You’ll Be Working On
As a BAS / HVAC Controls Technician, you will install, program, commission, service, and troubleshoot Building Automation Systems and commercial HVAC controls. You will work on systems that help commercial buildings operate efficiently, safely, and reliably.
This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in BAS controls, DDC systems, low-voltage wiring, point-to-point checkout, system startup, and HVAC controls troubleshooting.
## Responsibilities
Install and service BAS/DDC controllers, sensors, actuators, valves, and field devices.
Program, configure, test, and troubleshoot commercial HVAC control systems.
Perform point-to-point checkout, functional testing, calibration, commissioning, and equipment startup.
Diagnose and repair issues related to temperature control, airflow, communication networks, control wiring, and equipment integration.
Modify control logic, load system graphics, update configuration files, and support system improvements as needed.
Work with communication protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks, or similar platforms.
Read and interpret wiring diagrams, control drawings, schematics, and mechanical plans.
Document work performed and complete service reports accurately and professionally.
Provide on-site customer support and represent the company with professionalism.
## What We’re Looking For
Minimum 3 years of experience with BAS, HVAC controls, DDC systems, or commercial HVAC equipment.
Strong electrical and low-voltage controls wiring skills.
Experience troubleshooting DDC controls, BAS logic, communication issues, and system performance problems.
Experience with BAS platforms such as Trane, Siemens, Johnson Controls, Honeywell, Carrier, Distech, or similar systems.
Ability to perform commissioning, startup, testing, and system verification.
Ability to work independently in the field while communicating clearly with project teams, service teams, and customers.
Valid driver’s license required.
## Preferred Experience
BAS programming experience.
Graphics, front-end interface, or workstation experience.
Experience integrating systems through BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks, or similar protocols.
Commercial mechanical, service, facilities, or building controls background.
Strong diagnostic mindset and ability to solve complex field issues.

We are hiring for positions in:
Austin, Texas
San Antonio, Texas
Field-based work throughout the Central Texas region.
## Schedule
Full-time, Monday–Friday.
Occasional overtime based on project and service needs.
