Bathroom panel and tile installation helper

Looking for a reliable, hardworking, capable helper to assist with bathroom remodeling and tile installation.

📋 Job Responsibilities:

• Help with prep work, including measuring, cutting, and handing tools/materials to the lead installer.
• Assist with bathroom wall panel and shower door installation.
• Support the tiling process, including mixing thinset/mortar, carrying tiles, applying grout, and wiping down surfaces.
• Keep the workspace clean by sweeping up debris, throwing away trash, and cleaning tools throughout the day.
• Load and unload supplies and materials from the work vehicle.

💪 Requirements

• Basic familiarity with hand tools (measuring tape, utility knife, drills, etc.).
•MUST know how to read a tape measure to the 1/16th.

• Ability to follow directions safely and work well alongside someone else. If you’re newer to this industry be willing to learn, if youre more experienced be willing to adapt to our ways.
• Physical stamina to lift up to 75+ lbs, bend, kneel, and stand for most of the day.
• Reliable transportation to get to the jobsite or at least to meet up point to ride together, will need to assist with loading panels from warehouse.

•Have a good/positive attitude.
•Be clean, smell clean, everyday. we work in close quarters.
•Be Grown- I do not want to babysit you. We have a job to do, when we are working, be involved. Don’t have your phone glued to your hand.
•Dress Code- Clean work shirt, work pants (Carhartt, cargo, blue jeans) some stain spots are fine, but want to keep a professional appearance.
•Drug/Alcohol Policy- Absolutely No hardcore drugs, if you smoke weed or drink at home that’s fine , thats your business, but keep it AT HOME. Never show up to work intoxicated or smelling like it or you will be sent home.
•Respect-we work in people’s homes, their safe space from the world, treat people’s homes like you would want someone to treat your home, and treat the homeowners with kindness and manors.

Compensation & Logistics

• Tax Status: This is a helper position hired as an independent contractor (1099). You must complete a W-9 form before starting work.
• Pay Rate: 18-22$ an hour
• Employment type: 1099

•M-F, sometimes M-TH, weekend work never required but will be available if you want the hours
• Work Radius: We try to stay closer to Jacksonville/St Augustine but can get work to go out as far as 2-3 hours away, for further away jobs we offer a ride in the truck, anything further out than 2 hours one way we like to pay for, for example: If the job takes 2 1/2 hours to get there one way by map, we’ll give you 1 hour in pay for that time there and back, traffic time not included.
