Description
Position Summary
The Lead Installer is responsible for leading residential bathroom remodeling projects from demolition through final installation while ensuring quality workmanship, job site safety, customer satisfaction, and compliance with company standards. This position serves as the crew leader on assigned projects, mentors Installer Assistants, communicates with customers, and ensures projects are completed efficiently and professionally.

- Lead and perform complete residential bathroom remodeling projects, including demolition, installation, finish work, and final cleanup.
- Read and interpret work orders, installation specifications, drawings, and project documentation.
- Ensure all work is completed according to company quality standards, manufacturer specifications, and applicable building codes.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite throughout each phase of the project.
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, and other construction equipment.
- Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in good working condition and report maintenance needs promptly.
- Communicate professionally with homeowners throughout the installation process.
- Educate customers on the operation, care, and maintenance of newly installed products.
- Accurately complete all required paperwork, project documentation, photographs, and electronic reporting.
- Coordinate material needs and communicate project updates with the Production Manager.
- Train, mentor, and provide guidance to Installer Assistants and other crew members.
- Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and safe work practices.
- Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and company-issued uniforms while on duty.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support business operations.
- Previous residential remodeling or construction experience required.
- Demonstrated experience with demolition, framing, drywall repair, waterproofing, finish carpentry, cabinet installation, trim and molding, hardware installation, plumbing fixture installation, and related remodeling tasks.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to read tape measures, construction drawings, installation instructions, and safety documentation.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining high quality standards.
