Hiring painters and field leaders on Kaua‘i. We service all of Kauai, we are based on the North. Kauai-raised Founder.
Apprentice: $24–$28/hr
Journeyman: $32–$42/hr
Lead: $45–$58/hr
Paint Captain: $60–$75/hr (up to $80/hr top end)
C-33 license preferred, not required
[Additional compensation available for C-33 licensed contractor support or qualifier role.]
Work includes painting, coatings, staining, waterproofing, and specialty finishes for residential, estate, and commercial properties.
We want professionals who respect prep, show up on time, communicate clearly, and take pride in their work.
Contract-based to start, with room for more consistent work moving up to part-time and full-time as we expand.

FIELD LEADERSHIP LADDER
1) Apprentice Painter
1–3 Years Experience
For painters building technique, quality, consistency, speed, and strong prep habits under leadership.
Responsibilities
- Prep work
- Masking, sanding, patching
- Surface protection
- Assisting crew leaders
- Learning company systems and standards
$24–$28/hr
Approx. $50,000–$58,000 annually at full-time

4–10+ Years Experience
For painters who can execute clean work independently and understand full coating systems.
Responsibilities
- Execute full paint systems with limited oversight
- Maintain strong prep standards
- Understand primers, finishes, and application methods
- Handle smaller scopes independently
- Maintain professionalism on site
$32–$42/hr
Approx. $66,000–$87,000 annually at full-time

10–20+ Years Experience
For experienced painters who can lead crews, protect quality, and keep jobs moving.
Responsibilities
- Lead 1–2 crew members
- Maintain jobsite organization and cleanliness
- Oversee quality control
- Keep production efficient
- Train less experienced painters
- Communicate clearly with Captain and Ownership
$45–$58/hr
Approx. $94,000–$121,000 annually at full-time

4) Paint Captain
20+ Years Experience Preferred
C-33 License Preferred
We are actively looking to bring on a C-33 licensed contractor and are open to structuring additional compensation or a licensing fee for the right individual.
This is the top field leadership role.

- Assist with estimate creation and client presentations
- Communicate professionally with clients and team
- Report directly to Ownership
$60–$75/hr starting
Up to $80/hr for proven leadership, production strength, and track record
Approx. $125,000–$166,000 annually at full-time
