Kirk's Jewelry is a locally owned family business that has proudly served Chico, CA for 50 years. Our studio is fully equipped with modern tools, including Rhino 3D, a Solid Scape 3D printer, and an in-house photo studio, allowing us to create custom jewelry from concept to completion. We also specialize in high-quality jewelry repair and restoration, supported by our in-house jewelers who bring years of experience to their craft.
We are currently seeking a talented and proficient Bench Jeweler to join our team. We are looking for highly skilled, quality-oriented, and motivated candidates who are dedicated to producing the finest products for our customers.

Required Skills:

Perform repairs in gold while working side by side with experienced jewelers
The ability to perform:

• Ring Sizing
• Half/full shanks
• Assembling of head/shanks
• Polish and Rhodium plate
• Retip prongs
• Setting including but not limited to Prong and Bezel, all stone shapes.
• Solder rings together
• Simple fabrication
• Chain and bracelet repair / links
• Experience with Laser Welding a plus
• Platinum experience is a plus.

Position Requirements:

• High School diploma/GED a plus, technical training in metal programs or jewelry programs preferred
• Excellent organizational skills & detail oriented
• Consistent regular scheduled attendance is considered an essential function of this job
• Must be able to work extended hours including evenings, weekends and holidays throughout the busy period Mid November- Mid January.
• Overtime available to the right candidate.
