Bench technician wanted

Bench Technician is responsible for repairs, modifications, and new build assemblies of communications equipment. Configuring RF devices. The technician provides analysis of electronic equipment as to repair needs, along with providing input on problem solving.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain radio software / diagrams and other records
Coordinates repair and build orders as needed
SECOND PRIORITY Programs radios and minor radio repairs
PRIMARY JOB, Final assembly and testing of headsets and cable assemblies which involves soldiering, crimping, strain relief and testing
Headset and cable repairs
Provisioning of Cobalt audio accessories
Backup duties related to logistics including shipping, receiving, prepping orders and warehousing
Field installations
QUALIFICATIONS
A background which encompasses the understanding of design drawings, assembly, and radio programing.
The ability to communicate with different departments within the company
The ability to work independently and manage one’s time to complete needed tasks
Aptitude for problem solving
Two year trade school and work experience in field desired.
Your salary will start at $19.00 per hour. There will be opportunities for overtime and/or take home piece meal assignments. Paychecks are issued bi-weekly. We will give you an evaluation and look at business prospects after 90 days.
You will be eligible for medical and dental benefits beginning on your first day of employment. You will receive a company handbook for you review. You will sign up for payroll deductions, direct deposit and benefits.
We will conduct employment/corporation reviews every 6 months, after the 90 day review, to see how things are with you and to help improve our relationship with you and the company. This review will not always justify a raise.
