Summit Bicycles is the Bay Area's premier destination for high-performance cycling. We are seeking a skilled, detail-oriented Bicycle Mechanic to join our busy service team at "The Plant" in San Jose.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

High-End Service: Expertly performing everything from comprehensive tune-ups to full suspension overhauls and custom frame-up builds.

Diagnostics: Troubleshooting complex issues on modern road, mountain, and e-bikes.

Customer Communication: translating technical issues into clear solutions for our customers.

Quality Control: Ensuring every bike that leaves the stand is safe, dialed, and clean.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Experience: 2+ years of professional shop experience is preferred.

Technical Mastery: Proficiency with hydraulic bleeds, tubeless setup, and modern suspension service.

Electronic Expertise: Familiarity with electronic shifting (SRAM AXS, Shimano Di2) and E-Bike diagnostics (Bosch, Shimano STEPS, TQ) is a massive plus.

The Right Attitude: You are punctual, organized, and capable of working efficiently in a high-volume service center.

Physical reqs: Able to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods.
