Bike Mechanic for eBike Shop

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in bicycle and eBike maintenance. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring that bikes are safe and operational.

Duties

• Diagnose mechanical problems in bikes and determine the necessary repairs.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as tune ups, brake repair, and tire changes.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Assemble and disassemble bike components as needed for repair or replacement.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about their bike issues and repair options.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Bike Mechanic or Service Technician
• Solid mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various bike and systems.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during repairs and maintenance tasks.

-Customer service and/or sale experience not required but a bonus

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: Part time 20 – 30 per week, flexible schedule

Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Required)

Service technician experience: 1 year (Required)
