Core Responsibilities
Carpentry Tasks: Perform rough work (framing walls, roofs) and finish work (stairs, doors, cabinets).
Language Translation: Communicate effectively with supervisors, workers, and clients in both English and Spanish.
Safety & Communication: Explain safety procedures and technical instructions to non-English speaking team members.
Documentation: Review and interpret blueprints, measurements, and work orders in both languages.
Collaboration: Bridge language gaps to ensure efficiency and accuracy among diverse construction crews.
Job Requirements
Language Skills: Fluency in English and Spanish is required, including the ability to read technical documents and converse about construction techniques.
Experience: Usually 3–5+ years of relevant construction or carpentry experience.
Technical Skills: Proficient with hand and power carpentry tools.
Physical Ability: Good physical stamina for lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
Math Skills: Strong capabilities in arithmetic for accurate measurements and calculations.
