# Bilingual Assistant / Jr. Estimator – Drywall & Painting

**Location:** Chino, CA
**Job Type:** Full-Time, In-Office
**Hours:** Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
**Pay:** $18.00–$22.00 per hour, depending on experience

We are a drywall and painting contractor seeking a **Bilingual Assistant / Jr. Estimator** to work directly with our Estimator and assist with the bidding and estimating process.

This is an **in-office position in Chino, California and is not a remote position.**

### Responsibilities

• Assist the Estimator throughout the bidding process
• Review construction plans, blueprints, drawings and specifications
• Assist with drywall and painting takeoffs and estimates
• Help organize bid information and project documentation
• Review and update material pricing
• Enter estimating and project information into spreadsheets
• Track project communications, revisions and documentation
• Communicate professionally with builders, vendors, suppliers and field personnel
• Maintain organized electronic and project files
• Assist with other estimating-related duties as needed

### Qualifications

• **Bilingual English/Spanish required**
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable working with numbers and basic mathematical calculations
• Proficient with computers and Microsoft Excel
• Ability or willingness to learn how to read construction plans and blueprints
• Dependable and able to meet deadlines
• Previous construction, drywall, painting or estimating experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate

### Compensation

**$18.00–$22.00 per hour**, depending on experience.

This is a full-time, in-office position located in **Chino, CA**. Applicants must have reliable transportation to the office.
