BOAT / MARINE MECHANICS & TECHNICIANS — FULL-TIME

Compensation: $25–$50 per hour, based on marine experience, manufacturer certifications and diagnostic ability. Medical insurance and 401(k) retirement plan offered.

Diamond Marine in East Haven, Connecticut, is seeking experienced Marine Mechanics and Technicians to join our growing service department.

We are a busy, well-established marine dealership that has served Connecticut boaters for over 40 years. We are authorized dealers for Yamaha, Suzuki, Mercury and Honda outboards and represent several leading boat manufacturers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Diagnose, service and repair outboard engines
• Perform routine maintenance, winterization and spring commissioning
• Troubleshoot electrical, fuel, steering and control systems
• Install and rig engines, electronics and accessories
• Perform quality inspections and water testing
• Accurately document completed repairs

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Marine mechanical experience preferred
• Yamaha, Suzuki, Mercury or Honda experience is a strong plus
• Manufacturer certifications are preferred but not required
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Dependable, organized and able to work well with others
• Must take pride in producing professional, high-quality work
