Body Shop Estimator

SK Autobody is looking for an experienced and dependable Auto Body Shop Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate has experience writing accurate collision repair estimates, communicating with insurance companies, and helping coordinate parts to keep repairs organized and moving efficiently.

We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced auto body shop environment.

Responsibilities

Write accurate collision repair estimates using industry-standard estimating software.
Inspect vehicle damage and identify necessary repairs and replacement parts.
Communicate and negotiate with insurance adjusters regarding estimates, supplements, and repair procedures.
Prepare and submit supplemental estimates for additional damage discovered during repairs.
Coordinate with technicians, insurance representatives, and management to ensure repairs proceed smoothly.
Assist with ordering, tracking, receiving, and organizing vehicle parts.
Verify that ordered parts match the vehicle and repair requirements.
Monitor repair progress and help resolve estimate, insurance, and parts-related issues.
Maintain accurate repair documentation and customer records.
Help keep the shop organized and maintain efficient workflow.
Qualifications

Previous experience as an auto body estimator or collision repair estimator preferred.
Ability to write accurate estimates and supplements.
Experience working with insurance companies and insurance adjusters.
Knowledge of collision repair procedures, vehicle damage assessment, and replacement parts.
Familiarity with estimating software such as CCC ONE is preferred.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple vehicle repairs at the same time.
Must be reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
