Paint Shop Manager – Stringer Body Shop

We are hiring an experienced Paint Shop Manager to lead operations at our busy paint and refinishing shop in Lacey's Spring.
About the Role:
We need a strong, hands-on leader who can efficiently run the paint department and deliver high-quality finishes every day. You will manage the full paint process from prep to final delivery.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily paint department operations and workflow

Lead and develop a team of painters, prep techs, and detailers
Ensure consistent high-quality paint work, color matching, and finishes
Manage paint inventory, mixing, and material usage (reduce waste)
Maintain spray booth cleanliness and equipment maintenance
Work closely with body technicians
Monitor job timelines, quality control

What We’re Looking For:

Minimum 5+ years of professional automotive painting experience
Strong leadership and team management skills
Expert-level color matching and paint application skills
Experience with modern paint systems (LV650 Sikkens .)
Knowledge of prep work, blending
Ability to manage multiple jobs in a fast-paced environment
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
