Building & Apartment Maintenance Technician

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Building & Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our staff.

Our family has owned and operated several residential and commercial buildings in the Havertown area for over 50 years.

This person should have a positive "CAN DO" attitude with good customer service skills. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Complete all work assigned work orders accurately and turn in paperwork in a timely fashion
• Turn over vacant apartments in a timely manner, Manage repairs throughout the turnover process. Complete apartment and make ready to rent.
• Resolve electrical, plumbing and appliance repairs, installations, service and replacements in a responsible and professional manner

that meets industry standards as needed.

• Keep the grounds free of debris and trash, ice and snow.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents.

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Electrical circuits, receptacles, breakers, switches and fuses
• Installation and repairs of lighting fixtures
• Installation and repairs of appliances such as stoves and refrigerators
• Installation and repairs of toilets and sinks
• Installation of countertops and flooring
• Ability to refinish kitchen cabinetry
• Drywall and plaster repair & light painting
• Carpentry repairs
• Plumbing repairs and maintenance
• Installation and repair of window screens and blinds
• Installation of interior and exterior doors
• Bulk trash removal

• Must have valid driver’s license and own transportation
• Must have your own work tools
• Must pass drug and credit and background check
• General knowledge of all aspects of maintenance repair and service
• Apartment maintenance experience a plus
• HVAC Certification a plus
• Ability to work snowplow a plus
