Building Maintenance Custodian and Fabricator

We are looking for a new in-house handyman as our current handyman moves to another of our buildings. We are looking for a jack-of all-trades but failing that, we are looking for someone with great mechanical skills and a good attitude and we are willing to train them. Here are the types of tasks the person would have to do:

Basic carpentry work, like framing a room and building a crate for shipping.
Basic drywall work and painting.
Cleaning
Light aluminum fabrication (we will train you for this part)
Shipping and receiving parcels.
Small construction.
Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and routine building inspections to identify possible issues
Replace broken fixtures and hardware.
Maintain a clean and safe workplace.
This essentially boils down to an on-site handyman with a good attitude and a willingness to learn. We want them to help us fix up our building and maintain our premises while filling in at various points of our production facility. The key to success at this position is a good problem solver with great mechanical skills.

None of the activities are too complicated or require licensing. Supervision and help is available as needed. The ideal candidate would be a handyman who is ready for a steady paycheck.
