Beam Saw Operator – Custom Architectural Millwork

RJ Wherry is a growing custom architectural millwork company specializing in high-end commercial and custom woodworking projects. We're looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Beam Saw Operator to join our production team.

Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain an industrial beam saw safely and efficiently.
Read cut lists, shop drawings, and production paperwork.
Cut sheet goods accurately while maximizing material yield and minimizing waste.
Verify dimensions and maintain high quality standards.
Label and organize cut parts for downstream production.
Perform routine machine maintenance and keep the work area clean.
Work closely with estimators, project managers, and shop personnel to keep production moving.

Qualifications:

Experience operating a beam saw or similar industrial woodworking equipment preferred.
Experience in cabinet, millwork, or woodworking manufacturing is a plus.
Ability to read a tape measure accurately and interpret shop drawings.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to lift 50+ pounds and remain on your feet throughout the workday.
Positive attitude, dependable attendance, and a willingness to learn.
