Cabinet Designer Engineer

Job description:

Looking for the ideal candidate will have excellent creative thinking skills and be able to create designs based on conversations with a client. The candidate should be confident communicating regularly with client in order to assess their needs and be able to adjust a given approach based on feedback.

Responsibilities
*Follow Architectural specifications and drawing detail
*Revise Shop Drawing per Architectural Revisions and final field measurements
*Create models out of rough sketches
*Provide Material take offs and Material request forms to purchasing
*Pricing, Bidding, and Job-costing

Skills
*Proven working experience as a project engineer
*Excellent knowledge of design and visualizations software such as CABINET VISION, & CAD
*Ability to work with multiple discipline projects
*Project management and supervision skills
*Decision making ability and leadership skills
*Time management and organization skills
*Self-Starter required
*Ability to work with contractors and clients
*Must be able to complete or create a drawing from customer specs
*Must be able to handle fast-paced material take-offs
*Must be able to do submittal's and kitchen drawings
*MUST have a minimum of 2 years exp in drafting, CABINET VISION & CAD (Kitchen exp is a (+)
