Position Summary

The Cabinet Installer is responsible for the installation of cabinetry and related hardware in residential and commercial settings. This role requires a high level of craftsmanship, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality and safety standards. The Cabinet Installer must deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining a professional and courteous presence on every jobsite.

Key Responsibilities

•Verify that all cabinet components are present, undamaged, and accounted for prior to beginning installation.
•Measure, layout, and mark accurate installation guidelines on walls for cabinetry and appliance openings.
•Install cabinets and rough sub-tops using appropriate tools, techniques, and safety practices.
•Align and adjust cabinet drawers and doors, fill and putty pin nail holes, and install cabinet hardware utilizing proper jigs and specifications.
•Maintain a clean and safe job site by removing sawdust, scrap materials, and packaging, and disposing of trash in designated job-specific locations.

Qualifications

•High school diploma or equivalent required
•Demonstrated knowledge of kitchen design layouts, drawings, and installation specifications required
•Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Cabinet Installer required
•Experience in all phases of cabinet and millwork installation required
•Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications required
•Proficient in the use of precision measuring tools, hand tools, and power tools required
•Ability to travel as required to assigned job sites
•Possession of reliable transportation and tools required
•Valid driver’s license with a minimum of five (5) years of driving experience required
