Cabinet Installer / RTA Cabinet Specialist

Fadox Construction is seeking an experienced Cabinet Installer and RTA Cabinet Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, excellent craftsmanship, and experience assembling and installing ready-to-assemble cabinets for kitchens, bathrooms, ADUs, and remodeling projects.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install RTA cabinets accurately and efficiently
• Install kitchen, bathroom, laundry, and storage cabinets
• Read cabinet layouts, plans, and installation instructions
• Verify measurements, level, plumb, spacing, and alignment
• Install fillers, toe kicks, panels, crown molding, hardware, and trim
• Make field adjustments and resolve installation issues
• Coordinate with project managers, homeowners, and other trades
• Protect finished surfaces and maintain a clean, organized work area
• Identify damaged or missing materials before and during installation
• Complete work according to project specifications and quality standards

Requirements

• Previous experience installing kitchen and bathroom cabinets
• Strong experience with RTA cabinets
• Ability to read plans, elevations, and cabinet layouts
• Skilled with levels, laser levels, drills, saws, and other installation tools
• Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to job sites
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Professional communication and dependable work habits
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to lift cabinet materials and safely perform physical work

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with custom, semi-custom, or frameless cabinets
• Experience coordinating appliance openings and countertops
• Finish carpentry and trim experience
• Residential remodeling or new-construction experience
• Ability to perform cabinet repairs and punch-list corrections

Position Details

• Position: Cabinet Installer / RTA Cabinet Specialist
• Pay: $30–$32 per hour, depending on experience and skill level
• Employment type: Full-time
• Service area: San Diego County
