Cabinet Maker

Sweetwood Custom Cabinets is looking for a full-time cabinet maker to join our team of skilled professionals. This position includes operating typical cabinet equipment and machinery including CNC's, Edgebanders, sliding table saws, and typical hand tools associated with sizing and building cabinetry. Job responsibilities include cutting, sizing, prepping, installing hardware, installing lighting, reading plans, and building cabinets and cabinet components per the plans provided by our design team. We are willing to train for this position for applicants that want to learn a skill and want to grow with our company.

Required Skills:

• Must have a valid license.
• Must be able to handle large objects as well as delicate objects without damaging parts
• Must have some working knowledge of how to read a tape and work with your hands to build things

Helpful but not required Skills

• Be able to interpret shop drawings
• Strong organizational skills
• Some working knowledge of the cabinet building process and cabinetry hardware
