Cabinet Maker Apprentice (Basic Experience Required)

Join our growing custom cabinet and architectural millwork shop! We are looking for a motivated Cabinet Maker Apprentice who has some basic woodworking experience and wants to build a long-term career in the trade.
Requirements:
- Basic woodworking or cabinet shop experience required
- Familiarity with hand and power tools
- Willingness to learn from experienced cabinet makers
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Able to lift 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced shop
- Positive attitude and attention to detail
- Assist with building custom cabinets and millwork
- Sand, assemble, and prepare components
- Operate tools and machinery under supervision
- Help with shop organization and material handling

Operations Manager – Fabrication & Installation
Location: Queens, NY
We are a growing custom fabrication company specializing in architectural millwork, cabinetry, metal, stone, glass, and specialty fabrication. We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead both our fabrication shop and installation teams while ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the fabrication shop and field installation crews.
- Schedule production, deliveries, and installations.
- Coordinate with project managers, estimators, and clients.
- Monitor project progress, budgets, and labor productivity.
- Ensure all projects meet quality standards and deadlines.
- Supervise shop foremen, installers, and subcontractors.
- Resolve production and job-site issues quickly and effectively.
- Maintain inventory and coordinate material procurement.
- Implement and improve shop processes and workflow.
- Enforce OSHA safety standards and company policies.
- Prepare weekly production and installation schedules.
- Track KPIs, labor efficiency, and project profitability.
- Minimum 5 years of management experience in custom millwork, cabinetry, stone, metal fabrication, or commercial interiors.
- Strong understanding of shop fabrication and field installation.
- Ability to read architectural drawings and shop drawings.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience with project scheduling and construction coordination.
- Knowledge of Procore, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, or similar software is a
