Hiring a Cabinet Maker/Woodworker for a leading event production and logistics company based in Long Island City.

Overview:

Vertex Global Solutions is hiring an experienced Cabinet Maker / Woodworker for an in-person position in Long Island City, for a premier event production and logistics company. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience building, assembling, installing, repairing, or finishing cabinets and other wood components.

Location: Long Island City, Queens, NY

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5:00 PM until work is completed
Pay: $20–$25 per hour, depending on experience

RESPONSIBILITIES:

-- Build and assemble cabinets, millwork, and other wood components
-- Measure and cut materials accurately
-- Read basic drawings, plans, and measurements
-- Use hand tools and power tools safely
-- Install cabinets and related components
-- Assist with repairs, modifications, and finishing work
-- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
-- Complete assigned projects according to production deadlines
-- Work independently while contributing to a team environment

QUALIFICATIONS:

-- Previous professional woodworking or cabinet-making experience
-- Experience measuring, cutting, assembling, and installing cabinets
-- Ability to read basic drawings, plans, or measurements
-- Comfortable using hand tools and power tools
-- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
-- Reliable attendance and punctuality
-- Ability to work Monday–Friday beginning at 5:00 PM
