Cabinet maker/installer- Trim Carpenter $30-30/hr

Blue Heron Furniture Company, a custom cabinetry and architectural millwork shop in Somersworth, is looking for an experienced millwork craftsman. We build high-end residential and commercial cabinetry, closets, and architectural millwork — precision work at a high level. This is not an entry-level position — experienced only need apply.

What you'd be doing:

• Cabinet and component assembly to tight tolerances
• Shaper work — cope-and-stick, custom profiles
• Fitting/scribing, hardware installation
• Job-site installation on high-end residential and commercial projects
• Reading shop drawings/elevations and working to spec

What we're looking for:

• Solid experience with shapers/router tables and cabinet-grade joinery
• Trim carpentry or finish carpentry background preferred; millwork/cabinet shop experience strongly preferred
• Comfortable reading drawings and working to tight tolerances
• Own hand tools required
• Own truck or reliable transportation to job sites
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Clean background check

Pay: $35/hr — reflects the skill level we need

• Full time M-F 7:30-3:30
• W-2 position
