Cabinet Vision Drafter / Custom Cabinet Designer

Experienced Remodel Contractor and Custom Cabinet Manufacturer is seeking a highly motivated Drafter/Cabinet Designer to join our growing team.

This position is ideal for someone with a strong cabinet and millwork background who enjoys seeing projects through from initial drawings to final production. We are looking for a team player who takes pride in accuracy, organization, and delivering a quality product.

Qualifications:

Cabinet and architectural millwork experience required.

Proficiency with CAD software required.
Cabinet Vision 2025 experience is required.
Strong understanding of cabinet construction methods and manufacturing processes.
Experience with CNC manufacturing and production workflows.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities:

Create detailed production drawings and renderings for residential and commercial cabinetry projects.
Build, maintain, and optimize all Cabinet Vision libraries to ensure accurate, error-free production.
Generate CNC code, cut lists, reports, and production documents.
Coordinate projects from design through installation, ensuring all departments have the information needed for success.
Maintain inventory, order materials and track project schedules.
Communicate effectively with sales, production, purchasing, installers, and project managers.
Assist the Project Manager in preparing commercial submittal packages.
Participate in field measurements, site walks, and design meetings with the sales and project management teams.
Review plans and specifications to identify potential issues before production begins.
Continuously improve drafting standards and manufacturing efficiency.
