FULL TIME POSITION

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour (based on experience)

We are looking for an experienced Custom Cabinetmaker / Cabinet Fabricator & Installer to build and install high-quality custom residential cabinetry from start to finish.

REQUIREMENTS:
5+ years of cabinet building & installation experience required
5+ years of cabinet laminating/HPL experience required
3+ years of sliding table saw experience required
Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle required

Experience building custom residential cabinetry

Strong experience working with raw plywood
Experience with cabinet doors, drawers, and drawer boxes
Experience with cabinet fabrication and field installation
Strong measuring and layout skills
Ability to work independently and produce high-quality work

This is a hands-on position for someone who knows cabinetmaking — from working with raw plywood and HPL laminate in the shop to accurately measuring, modifying, and installing finished cabinetry in the field.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

SHOP FABRICATION

Build custom residential cabinets from raw plywood
Fabricate plywood drawer boxes
Build and laminate cabinet doors using HPL
Cut and prepare cabinet components for assembly
Operate a sliding table saw and edgebander
Assemble custom cabinetry and prepare it for installation
Maintain accurate dimensions and quality throughout the fabrication process

FIELD INSTALLATION

Measure job sites and cabinetry accurately
Install custom cabinets in residential homes
Modify and laminate cabinets in the field
Measure and install cabinet doors and drawers
Make field adjustments to ensure proper fit and alignment
Install finished cabinetry with a high level of attention to detail
Troubleshoot installation issues and find practical solutions

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

We're looking for a skilled cabinetmaker, not someone who only has basic installation experience. You should be comfortable taking a custom cabinet project from raw materials in the shop through finished installation in the customer's home. Attention to detail is critical. You should take pride in accurate cuts, clean laminate work, properly aligned doors and drawers, and a finished installation that looks right.
