Cabinets General

Sweetwood Custom Cabinets is looking for a full-time general cabinet maker to join our team of skilled professionals. Typical job responsibilities include installing cabinet doors and drawers with the correct hardware and staging and organizing for delivery. Installing glass in finished doors so they can be installed on the cabinets. Organizing and keeping hardware inventories. Identifying and solving problems that arise if items come together at final assembly that were not built to plan.

Important Skills:

• Must have a valid license and be able to safely drive box trucks as well as trucks with trailers. (No CDL required)
• Must be able to handle large objects as well as delicate objects without damaging parts
• Must have some working knowledge of cabinetry and cabinet hardware including the ability to identify differences in hardware and applications
• Must be able to interpret shop drawings to spot potential quality control issues before cabinets are delivered to the job site
• Must have strong organizational skills
• Must be able to read a tape measure and have an ability to solve potential problems without taking shortcuts
• Must have a good work ethic including being punctual, professional, and ready to work each day.

This is a full-time job with PTO and 401K.
