Car Audio Aftermarket Installation Instructor

Private trade school in South Hackensack New Jersey is looking for 12-Volt Installer/Instructor with at least 3 years of industry experience. We have 2 positions open:

- Full Time position, Monday to Friday
-Part Time position, Saturday only 8:30am to 4:30pm

If you have experience installing 12-volt equipment such as car audio, cameras, lighting, security, remote starters, troubleshooting, managing a shop, or running your own business, this may be the position for you. You get to help others and share the passion for the industry.

You will be following the school lesson plans and trained in teaching techniques. You will be joining a team of other instructors with experience in the automotive industry.

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years working in a shop setting, company, or self employment
Self Employment is a Plus!
Experience supervising and managing others.
Experience working on different car make and models, troubleshooting installs, and communicating with the customers
Patience working with others to teach students with multiple learning styles.
Must be able to motivate and coach others.
High Energy, Coaching Abilities and Motivational Skills.
Ability to evaluate others and give constructive feedback.
Ability to conduct research and develop creative methods to teach car audio, security, and troubleshooting.
Passion for cars and the aftermarket car audio industry.
Assertive and Confident Attitude
