Position Details

Location: Fredericksburg, TX

Pay: $27–$32/hour (based on experience)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, overtime as project needs require

Position Overview

Trade Management is partnering with a leading commercial construction contractor seeking experienced High-Caliber Millwright Carpenters for the project in Fredericksburg, TX. This position involves detailed architectural millwork and high-end finish carpentry, including door jambs, door casings, base trim, light valance trim, paneling, and casework.

We are looking for skilled craftsmen who take pride in their work, understand precision installations, can read blueprints and shop drawings, and consistently produce clean, professional finishes. This is not a general rough carpentry position. Candidates must have hands-on experience with high-end architectural millwork and detailed finish installations.

Key Responsibilities

Install door jambs, door casings, and architectural trim
Install base trim and baseboards with precise cuts and tight joints
Install light valance trim and specialty finish components
Install architectural wall paneling and decorative woodwork
Install cabinetry, specialty casework, and architectural millwork
Perform detailed measuring, cutting, fitting, and installation
Ensure all installations are level, plumb, square, and meet project specifications

Preferred Experience
3–5 years of commercial finish carpentry experience preferred
Hands-on experience installing door jambs, door casings, and detailed trim
Experience installing base trim, light valance trim, and architectural paneling
Experience with high-end cabinetry, casework, and architectural millwork

Requirements

OSHA 10 certification required
E-Verify required
Must pass a background check
Must pass a 10-panel rapid drug screening

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift and carry materials and tools weighing up to 50 pounds
Ability to climb ladders and scaffolding safely
Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and work in various positions
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
