CARPENTER and CARPENTER HELPER

Residential Building and Construction Company based in Shelbyville, Kentucky has an immediate opening for the following two full-time, year-round positions – Carpenter and Carpenter Helper. Work is primarily east side of Louisville – Crestwood, Lagrange, and communities east of the Gene Snyder (Fisherville, Finchville, Simpsonville, Shelbyville, Taylorsville, etc.).

Great co-workers, good pay. Competitive pay based on experience. After over 40 years in business, work is ongoing as we are always booked out with confirmed contracts. Framing, custom decks, covered porches, room additions, kitchen/basement/bathroom renovations, some trim and flooring.

CARPENTER

• Must have understanding of layout work and framing experience.
• Must be competent and skilled with all tools.
• Dependability is a MUST, as well as hard working.
• Attention to detail is required.
• Skill in other trades a plus.
• Aluminum brake experience is a plus.
• Must have good work ethic, dependable transportation and phone, valid driver's license, and own hand tools.

CARPENTER’S HELPER

• 3 to 5 years ongoing experience in the trades preferred.
• Dependability is a MUST, as well as hard working.
• Attention to detail is required.
• Must have good work ethic, dependable transportation and phone, valid driver's license, and own hand tools.
