Carpenter Apprentice Wanted

A 60-year old construction company is seeking a carpenter's apprentice to join our team. All of our employees enjoy competitive pay, 401K, medical, dental, vision insurance. The applicant must be willing to start immediately. The work is primarily in Arlington Virginia. The applicant must have a minimum of two years experience working on job sites. We operate a drug-free workplace.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist senior carpenters build, assemble, and install wooden trim and structural framing
• Take accurate measurements and cut wood using hand and power tools
• Clear debris, manage scrap materials and sweep the work area
• Perform all activities in accordance with the Occupational Safe and Health Administration's regulations
• Attend weekly safety meetings every Tuesday using job specific topics
