Carpenter – Commercial Installation

New York, NY | $28–$35/HR DOE | Weekly Pay

PeopleReady Skilled Trades (PRST) is seeking Mid-Level and Journeyman Carpenters for a large-scale commercial installation project in New York, NY.

The ideal candidate will have commercial construction experience and be comfortable performing detailed installation work from scaffolding approximately five floors above grade.

Responsibilities

Install approximately 9,500 sq. ft. of 4' x 8' polycarbonate panels and Growtex felt.
Measure, cut, align, and securely fasten materials to vertical wall surfaces.
Use pneumatic staple guns, drill/drivers, circular saws, and other standard carpentry tools.
Safely perform installation work from scaffolding approximately five floors high.
Lift, carry, and maneuver materials weighing 50+ lbs.
Follow project specifications, site instructions, OSHA requirements, and all safety procedures.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Qualifications
Mid-Level or Journeyman Carpenter experience in commercial construction.
Previous experience with panel installation, wall systems, sheathing, or similar materials preferred.
Comfortable working from elevated scaffolding.
Ability to accurately measure, cut, align, and install materials.
Proficient with common hand and power tools.
Ability to safely lift and handle 50+ lbs.
SST Card REQUIRED.
