65% remodels and renovations
•
25% residential new construction
•
10% repairs and maintenance
Primary focus is carpentry, including:
-
Interpret plans, drawings and descriptions of projects to be completed

Perform construction duties including layout, demo, Installation of finished products
-
Help to ensure quality and safety
-
Anticipate the needs of projects and communicate them in a timely manner
-
Communicate with clients onsite
-
Identify and resolve problems onsite
-
Provide updates to project manager/ lead carpenter
-
Record hours and expenses for job costing
-
Maintain a professional appearance appropriate for the job
-
Accurately track hours to jobs using mobile app

Schedule & Pay
•
$32-35/hour to start , pay raises available for performance
•
4-week performance review
•
Sick pay available
•
Year-round work
•
Typical hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
•
Flexible hours when needed
•
Occasional overtime and occasional weekend work
•
Work area includes The Mat-Su and Anchorage
. Requirements
•
Reliable personal vehicle
•
Clean driving record
•
Smart phone and ability to use it for work and tracking hours.
•
Own tool belt and basic hand tools, cordless drill
•
Able to lift 50 lbs
•
Comfortable working outdoors
•
References required
•
No criminal record
