CARPENTER

Menger Creek Builders is looking for an experienced and dependable Carpenter / Cabinet Finisher to join our team. We work on residential construction, remodeling, and custom cabinetry projects throughout Boerne and the surrounding Texas Hill Country.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in quality craftsmanship, pays close attention to detail, and can work independently when needed.
Responsibilities

• Install and finish custom cabinets and built-ins
• Install cabinet doors, drawer fronts, panels, fillers, and trim
• Install crown molding, base molding, and finish trim
• Perform cabinet adjustments and final punch-out work
• Perform finish carpentry and detailed woodwork
• Accurately measure, cut, and fit materials
• Read measurements, drawings, and basic shop plans
• Repair or modify cabinetry when necessary
• Use power tools and finish carpentry equipment safely
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Work professionally in customers' homes and active construction sites
• Travel to projects throughout the Texas Hill Country

Qualifications

• Previous carpentry, cabinetry, or finish carpentry experience preferred
• Cabinet installation experience is highly preferred
• Strong measuring, cutting, and installation skills
• Knowledge of woodworking and construction tools
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to troubleshoot and make field adjustments
• Dependable and punctual
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Compensation & Employment
This position will begin as contract labor, with the possibility of full-time employment based on performance, reliability, workmanship, and company needs.
Pay is based on experience and demonstrated skill level
