CARPENTER / DRIVER: Framing to Finish (Part-Time Driving + Full-Time)

We are seeking a versatile Lead Carpenter with a clean driver’s license to join our team for projects across NYC, Westchester, and Long Island.

This is a hybrid role for someone who can handle material logistics and still be the most skilled mechanic on the job site.

The Role: Driving: Operate the company van to pick up tools, materials, and equipment from suppliers/storage and deliver them to various job sites.

On-Site Carpentry: When not driving, you will be working on the tools. You must be able to handle everything from rough framing to high-end finish work without supervision.

The Scope of Work:

Framing: Wood and light-gauge metal framing.

Installations: Windows, exterior/interior doors, and full kitchen cabinet sets.

Drywall: Professional hanging, taping, and compound work.

Finish Work: Expert-level trim, baseboards, and crown molding.

Requirements:

Driving: Must have a Valid/Clean Driver’s License (subject to insurance check).

Certifications: OSHA 30 / SST 40 Card is mandatory. 4-HR Scaffold card is a plus.

Experience: 5+ years of hands-on residential remodeling experience.

Physicality: Ability to lift heavy objects and load/unload the van daily.

Tools: Must have your own basic hand/power tools.

Compensation & Terms:

Pay: $28 – $30 / hour (Based on experience).

Payment: W2 via Payroll Company only. No 1099 / No Cash.

Environment: Open shop; weekly pay.
