Description
Public Restroom Company designs, builds, and installs prefabricated restrooms and related buildings for parks and outdoor spaces. We are currently looking for an experienced Carpenter who is willing to travel to our job sites all across the country. Full-time travel for this role is required.
Essential Job Functions may include the following or other duties as assigned:
- Wood framing
- Install wood beams
- Install various types of exterior finish.
- Modify wood beams when needed
- Different levels of finish carpentry including but not limited to:
- Window installation and trim
- Fitting interior/exterior doors
- Tile/laminate floor installations
- Finish roofs for restrooms. Could include metal panels, asphalt tiles, and other materials
- Operates various equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts, mini-excavators, and more.
- Perform a variety of manual labor tasks incidental to trade and craft work requiring application of knowledge and experience gained on similar assignments
- Remains alert for hazards involved on the job site and observe OSHA safety, MSHA and operating rules and regulations

- Required: Valid Driver's License
- Required: At least 25 years of age; position requires the ability to be added to Company insurance.
- Required: The ability to travel.
- Minimum: 3+ years of carpentry experience
- Must be able to read blueprints, plans, and specifications
- Cross-trained in other functions/skills such as maintenance, plumbing, etc., preferred but not required
- Highschool diploma/equivalent, preferred
- Working knowledge of hand tools and power tools
- Completion of a formal apprenticeship preferred but not required.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to take accurate measurements.
- Ability to operate various power industrial equipment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
