CARPENTER / PAINTER – $30/HR – IMMEDIATE START – FAIRGROUNDS AREA

Experienced carpenter and/or painter needed for residential repair and improvement work in the Raleigh Fairgrounds area.

$30 per hour for hours actually worked. Travel time and transportation are not paid.

I am looking for someone who can start today, Sunday, or Monday. Work may continue through the end of the week, with additional work possible.

You do not need to do both carpentry and painting. Apply for carpentry, painting, or both.

Work may include:

Exterior wood and trim repair/replacement
Window trim installation and repair
Fascia and exterior wood repairs
Repair/replacement of damaged or deteriorated wood
Steps, railings, and other exterior carpentry
Exterior painting and touch-ups
Scraping, prep work, caulking, and sealing
Painting fascia, trim, and repaired/new wood
General residential repair work
Requirements:
Must be experienced and skilled in your trade
Must have your own tools
Must have reliable transportation
Must provide two references
Must work independently and move efficiently while producing quality work
Photos of previous work are a plus

This is not a job to learn the trade on. I need someone who already knows how to perform this type of work properly and efficiently.

Availability is important

I am hiring now. You must be able to start today, Sunday, or Monday. If you cannot start until the middle of next week or later, please do not apply.
