Carpenter – Precast Plant

Job Summary

We are looking for a Carpenter to join our Broken Arrow precast plant. This position will help build, repair, and maintain forms used to produce precast concrete products.

The ideal candidate has general carpentry knowledge, experience using hand and power tools, and the ability to read measurements accurately. Precast or concrete experience is helpful, but we are willing to train the right person if they have a strong work ethic and basic carpentry skills.

Key Responsibilities

The Carpenter will be responsible for:

Building and repairing wood forms for precast concrete production
Measuring, cutting, and assembling lumber and form materials
Reading tape measures and following basic drawings or instructions
Setting up forms to meet production requirements
Assisting with form layout, bracing, and adjustments
Inspecting forms for damage or wear
Making repairs to keep forms safe and usable
Using hand tools, saws, drills, and other power tools safely
Helping maintain a clean and organized work area
Working with production crews to support daily plant operations
Following all company safety procedures
Qualifications

Qualified candidates should have:

General carpentry or construction experience

Ability to read a tape measure accurately
Experience with hand tools and power tools
Ability to lift, bend, stand, and work in a plant environment
Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
Willingness to learn precast plant processes
Ability to work safely around concrete production equipment
Preferred Experience

Experience with any of the following is helpful, but not required:

Form building

Concrete or precast production
Framing or rough carpentry
Construction work
Reading simple drawings or measurements
Working in a manufacturing or plant environment
Physical Requirements

This position may require standing for long periods, bending, lifting, carrying materials, climbing, and working around concrete, forms, and production equipment. Candidates must be comfortable working in a precast plant environment.
