Carpenter / Residential Remodel - Sr & Jr. positions

Our company focus is as a residential and light commercial remodeler & custom builder. We work foundation to finish. Majority of work is in San Francisco, with some work in Marin County and the Northern Peninsula. All of our work comes from word of mouth from architects, engineers, and satisfied customers from our 25 years in business.

Strong candidates should have some of the following experience & skills.

• Strong communication skills. An ability to speak English and Spanish is a plus, especially for lead level candidates.
• Read plans and construction documents & spec sheets and translate that to on site layout and direction to jr employees.
• Perform accurate layout of framing and planning for plumbing, electrical, and finish cabinetry/windows/doors.
• Build concrete forms, install shoring, rebar layout and bending. Install hold downs and structural hardware per plans.
• Help calculate materials and general hands on basic project management.
• Rough Framing - production experience is a bonus, but skill and speed for custom work is the norm.
• Finish carpentry for cabinet install, baseboard, crown moulding, scribing in panels and trim elements,

flooring, custom work, window and door install and trim out.

All employees must be legally able to work in the United States.
Candidates should have a minimum of 4+ years of experience, with Junior level candidates having no less than 2 years of applicable experience.
Must have basic hand tools, measuring, power tools, and reliable transportation. Candidates should be able to pass a criminal background check and be able to lift in excess of 60 pounds and work safely at heights of 20' or more on occasion.
