Birchcrest Homes is looking for an experienced mid-level carpenter to join our small residential construction and remodeling crew.
We specialize in quality residential remodeling, additions, custom homes, decks, structural repairs, and other residential construction projects throughout the Spokane area.
Our work provides the opportunity to be involved in a wide variety of residential construction from start to finish — including foundations and structural work, framing, siding, decks, windows and doors, interior and exterior trim, cabinet installation, finish carpentry, and final hardware and details.
We’re looking for someone who already has a solid foundation in residential construction and enjoys being a well-rounded carpenter rather than specializing in only one phase of the work.
What We’re Looking For

• 2–5+ years of residential construction or remodeling experience
• Solid general carpentry skills
• Experience with several phases of residential construction
• Comfortable with both rough and finish carpentry
• Strong work ethic and takes pride in a productive day’s work
• Dependable — shows up consistently and on time
• Takes pride in quality workmanship and doing things right
• Willing to pitch in wherever needed as the project moves from one phase to another
• Comfortable using common construction and power tools
• Able to read a tape accurately and work from plans and instructions
• Good attitude and willingness to continue learning
• Able to work independently when appropriate
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

We’re not looking for an entry-level laborer, but you don’t need to know everything. We’re looking for someone with a good foundation who wants to continue developing into a well-rounded residential carpenter.
What We Offer

• $23–$27/hour DOE
• Full-time, year-round employment
• Four 10-hour days — Monday through Thursday
• Three-day weekends
