Norfolk Kitchen & Bath is seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our residential remodeling team. We’re looking for a skilled, dependable professional who takes pride in exceptional craftsmanship and is ready to take the lead on kitchen and bathroom renovation projects.
As a Carpenter, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality projects from installation through completion. You’ll work closely with Project Managers, customers, subcontractors, and fellow carpenters while helping ensure each project is completed safely, efficiently, and to Norfolk’s quality standards.

- Lead day-to-day carpentry and installation activities on residential remodeling projects
- Install cabinetry, crown molding, trim, and other finish carpentry components with a high level of precision
- Read and execute designs, floor plans, measurements, and elevation details accurately
- Perform and oversee residential remodeling and finish carpentry work
- Guide and support Carpenter Helpers or other crew members on the job site
- Monitor workmanship and ensure projects meet Norfolk’s quality standards
- Coordinate closely with Project Managers, subcontractors, designers, and other trades
- Identify job-site challenges and communicate solutions proactively
- Maintain professional and respectful communication with customers throughout the project
- Help keep projects on schedule while maintaining quality and attention to detail
- Maintain a clean, organized, professional, and safe job site
- Minimum of 5 years of residential finish carpentry and remodeling experience
- Strong expertise in cabinet installation, crown molding, trim, and finish carpentry
- Previous experience leading projects, crews, or other carpenters preferred
- Ability to read and accurately interpret floor plans, designs, and elevation details
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions in the field
- Excellent communication, organization, and customer-service skills
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 75+ lbs and safely work from heights
- Experience leading a two-person installation crew
- Kitchen and bathroom remodeling experience
- Experience mentoring or training Carpenter Helpers and junior carpenters
- Comfort using technology for communication, scheduling, and job tracking
- Experience coordinating directly with Project Managers, subcontractors, and other trades
