EXPERIENCED CARPENTER / LEAD CARPENTER WANTED

Chicago Area & Western Suburbs
$25–$42 PER HOUR | FULL-TIME W-2 POSITION
An established construction company is seeking a reliable, experienced carpenter or lead carpenter for ongoing residential and commercial projects.
Paid vacation and select paid holidays are available after the applicable eligibility period.
Scope of Work

• Residential framing, new homes and room additions
• Residential remodeling, interior trim and millwork
• Commercial steel-stud framing
• Commercial doors, frames and hardware
• Drop ceilings and acoustical ceiling systems

Experience in both residential and commercial carpentry is a strong plus. Lead carpenter opportunities are available for qualified candidates who can read plans, lay out work, direct other carpenters and keep projects moving efficiently.
Requirements

• Professional carpentry experience
• Ability to communicate effectively in English for jobsite coordination and safety
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
• Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation
• Own basic hand tools, cordless drills, saws and miscellaneous carpentry tools
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently or with a crew
• Ability to maintain a safe, clean and professional jobsite

Compensation and Benefits

• $25–$40 per hour, based on experience, skill level and leadership ability
• Full-time W-2 employee position
• Paid vacation and select paid holidays after eligibility requirements are met
• Consistent residential and commercial work

Most projects are located throughout the western suburbs and surrounding Chicago area.
