# Experienced Carpenter

Broderick Construction is looking for an experienced carpenter to join our crew.

We're a residential construction company out of Essex, MA. We work on renovations, additions, framing, exterior work, and finish carpentry around Cape Ann and the North Shore.

We're looking for someone who knows their way around a jobsite and can jump in and get to work. This isn't an entry-level position. You should have a solid carpentry background and be comfortable being given a task without needing someone to walk you through every step.

That said, we don't care if you know how to do everything. We care a lot about what you do when you don't know how to do something.

We like a hustler. Someone who's scrappy, can figure things out, asks questions when they need to and isn't afraid to push themselves outside their comfort zone. If you're the kind of person who sees something that needs to get done and just does it, you'll probably fit in pretty well here.

No big egos. We're a small crew and everyone jumps in.

Depending on the job, you could be doing:

• Framing
• Siding and exterior trim
• Windows and doors
• Interior trim and finish work
• Decks and porches
• Renovation work
• Repairs and punch-list work
• Whatever else needs to get done that day

We care about doing good work, but we also need to get things done. Quality and pace both matter.

What you need:

• Residential carpentry experience
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable transportation
• Basic hand tools
• Ability to work independently and as part of a crew
• Willingness to work outside and handle the physical demands of construction work
• Good references
• Clean background check

This is a contract position with consistent Monday–Friday work available. Most of our jobs are around Cape Ann and the North Shore.

Pay depends on experience and what you can bring to the crew.

We check references/background before bringing anyone onto the team.
