About the Role

We are an established residential remodeling contractor based in Bristol, RI, specializing in high-quality home renovations and custom additions. We are currently seeking a reliable, skilled Residential Carpenter/Carpenter Helper to join our crew for local, year-round project work.

This is a versatile, hands-on role covering the full cycle of a residential remodel—from initial site grading and foundation prep through rough framing and finish carpentry. If you have 3 years in the trade, take pride in your work, we’d love to connect with you.

Key Responsibilities

Work on all phases of residential remodels, including site preparation/grading, framing, door/window installation, and custom interior finish work.

Execute structural and cosmetic carpentry tasks safely, cleanly, and according to blueprints or project plans.

Collaborate with project leads, sub-contractors, and homeowners to keep job sites efficient, safe, and organized.

Troubleshoot on-site remodeling challenges using sound trade math and practical problem-solving.

Qualifications & Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Experience: 3 years of hands-on experience in residential remodel construction (covering phases from grading to finish carpentry).

Availability: Full-time availability for standard Monday through Friday day shifts.

Licensing & Travel: Must possess an active Driver’s License and own reliable transportation to travel to local project sites throughout the Bay area.

Tools: Must own a complete set of personal hand tools appropriate for daily residential framing and finish work (pouch, hammer, tape, square, levels, chisels, etc.). Power tools provided on-site.
