Join a long-term commercial construction project with weekly pay, 40+ hours per week, and per diem available for qualified travelers!

PAY: $30.00–$37.00/hour (based on experience) + $90/day Per Diem for qualified travelers

HOURS: Day Shift

SCHEDULE: Monday–Friday; approximately 40+ hours per week

START DATE: Immediate Hire

DURATION: Long-term contract opportunity

Journeyman Carpenter Job Description:

Superior Skilled Trades is hiring experienced Journeyman Carpenters to support commercial construction projects. Responsibilities include reading blueprints, framing, installing doors, hardware, blocking, backing, casework, and finish carpentry, while maintaining high-quality workmanship and following all job site safety requirements.

Qualifications for Journeyman Carpenter:

Minimum 5 years of commercial carpentry experience

Proficient in blueprint reading, layout, framing, and finish carpentry

Experience installing doors, frames, hardware, blocking, backing, millwork, and other commercial carpentry systems

Ability to accurately measure, cut, and assemble materials using hand and power tools

Must be able to safely use hand/power tools and PPE

Must be able to perform job duties that require standing, bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing ladders, working at heights, and lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted

Additional Requirements for Journeyman Carpenter:

Must be eligible to work in the United States

Must have reliable transportation to the job site

OSHA 10 Certification preferred (or willing to obtain if required)

Depending on assignment, applicants may be subject to pre-employment drug screen and background screening
