🔧 API CONSTRUCTION IS HIRING — CARPENTERS, HANDYMAN, ELECTRICIANS & PLUMBERS

API Construction is expanding our installation network and looking for dependable, experienced tradespeople for ongoing subcontract work installing tub and shower systems.

📍 AREAS NEEDED:

• Richmond & surrounding areas
• Hampton Roads / 757 Tidewater
• Northern Virginia
• Maryland

🛠️ CARPENTERS & HANDYMEN

Primary responsibilities will include assisting with and completing tub and shower system installations, including:

• Walk-in tub and soaker tub installations
• Shower system installations
• Removal of existing tubs and shower systems
• Minor framing and carpentry modifications
• Installing wall panels and surrounds
• Trim, molding and finishing work
• Minor drywall and repair work
• General installation and punch-list items

⚡ ELECTRICIANS

Light-duty residential electrical work associated with tub and shower installations, including:

• Installing/running outlets to tub areas
• Electrical connections for walk-in and soaker tubs
• Minor related electrical work as needed

🔧 PLUMBERS

Light-duty residential plumbing associated with tub and shower installations, including:

• Connecting hot and cold water lines
• Connecting drain lines
• Plumbing connections for showers, walk-in tubs and soaker tubs
• Minor related plumbing work as needed

💼 ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for professionals interested in consistent, ongoing subcontract work without having to take on large projects.

Electrical and plumbing service calls will typically be light-duty work that may only require 1–2 hours on site. Carpenters and handymen will primarily be responsible for the installation of the tub and shower systems.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Electricians and plumbers must be properly licensed and insured
• Carpenters and handymen must have relevant installation/construction experience
• Must have reliable transportation and be mobile within your service area
• Must be dependable, professional and punctual
• Must have your own basic tools and equipment
• Must be able to communicate effectively and complete quality work

We are looking to establish long-term relationships with reliable tradespeople as our installation volume continues to grow.
