Carpenter’s Helper – Entry Level (Rhode Island)

DoorMan RI is looking for a dependable carpenter’s helper to assist with residential door installations and finish carpentry projects throughout Rhode Island.

This is a great opportunity for someone that wants to grow with a growing company, who enjoys working with their hands and wants to learn a skilled trade from an experienced installer. Previous carpentry experience is helpful but not required. A good attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn are more important.

Requirements:

• High school graduate or equivalent (preferred)
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable vehicle to get to and from job sites
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Able to lift and carry doors, tools, and materials
• Punctual, dependable, and willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Professional appearance and good customer service skills

Preferred Candidate:

• Recent high school graduate or someone in their late teens to early 20s looking to learn a trade
• Interested in developing carpentry and construction skills
• Takes pride in quality work and pays attention to detail

Pay: $20+++
Starting pay is based on experience, work ethic, attitude, customer service skills, and willingness to learn. There is room for increased pay and responsibility as your skills grow.
